Cinderella Story Becomes Reality - Beavers Are Champions
In an almost impossible run, the Angry Beavers, winless in every game this session, saved all of there might for the championship run. And it paid off. The Beavers defeated Billy and the Boingers 2-0 to regain their first championship crown in the past 2 years.
After a early goal by Andy "Old Man River" Bradfield from a feed from Eric Paisley, Goaltender for the Beavers' Ross Frank shut down the door. Save after save, and penalty kill after penalty kill, Frank made some breath taking saves to hold off any comeback for the Boingers. Steve Galeski was able to capitalize off of that turn of momentum and put the nail in the coffin with the games 2nd goal late into the 2nd half. Congratulations to the Angry Beavers for their Championship Season.
