Team Pound gets "shelled" in blow out win for Angry Beavers
Unlike the first game of the night where the goaltending was spectacular, this game featured goals like it was rain for the Angry Beavers in their 5-2 win over Team Pound. After taking an innital goal lead from Trent Huebner (Tony Dreibus assist), the Angry Beavers came out in full force. Within the next 4 minutes, the Angry Beavers broke out a two-on-none breakaway with Kevin French and Andy Bradfield. Kevin took the feed from Andy and drilled one into the back of the net. This would be the precursor for the rest of the night. With goals coming off of a defenseman's foot to blue line blisters, the Angry Beavers racked up 5 goals on the defending Fall Session champions. The scoring came from Kevin French (2 Goals, 1 assist), Andy Brafield (1 Goal, 2 Assists), Steve Galeski (2 Goals), and Brady Murphy (1 Assist). Trent Huebner, Team Captain of Team Pound, did all he could to keep his team close in this battle with his two goals (both from Tony Dreibus Assists). Trent is returning from a leg infection that sidelined him last week in the hospital. His return marked the 3rd week were Team Pound has struggled with injuries and getting a regular roster lineup.
