Beer Heads Show No Hangover from Last Loss to Win Next Game

After a 2-0 shutout last week against the Angry Beavers, the Beer Heads rebounded with a 3-2 win over Billy and the Boingers. The number one star of the game was Eric Kamin, team captain of the Beer Heads, who scored all three goals for the Beer Heads with assists from Stringer, Nick Riechts, and Chris Clem respectively. After jumping out to a 2-0 lead, the Boingers held their ground with a goal from Steve Renner before going into the half. While second half would feature chippy play and stringent defense, both team were able to net a goal each, one coming from the Boinger Chris Ward would is coming off of his second week back from IR, and keep it close going down the stretch. Late in the 2nd, the Boingers drew a crucial penalty right before Renner drilled the ball in the back of the net from the point. The goal was waived off and the penalty was served by Steve "Green Helmet" Svendsen. This proved to be the game changer as the final score rested at 3-2 in favor of the Beer Heads.

The Play of the Game: Brad Bell telling Nick Riechts to quit bitching about where the face-off was placed (Occurred right after the ball was deflected out of bounds off of Dan from the Beer Head's helmet in the Beer Head zone).
