Billy Bounces Back with Win Over Team Pound
After dropping three straight goals last week, Billy and the Boingers do the same to Team Pound 3-1. Going down early 1-0 by a goal from Lou Witkam, Billy and the Boingers rebound. Steve Renner was able to answer before the end of the 1st half off of a pass from Brian Karre. Early in the 2nd, Brian Karre hit a blister shot past Team Pound goaltender Pete Wetzel coming from Steve Anderson. To finish Team Pound off, was Tom Baker of the Boingers with his cross ice breakaway goal into the back of the net.
