Beer Heads Capture Fall Title
Their High-Octane offsense carried them through the regular season, so why would it be any different for the Beer Heads in the finals. Goals by Chris Clem (2), Brad Bell, and Carey Durbin were too much to hold off for Billy and the Boingers in their title defense. Brian Karre and Steve Anderson kept the game within one goal until late into the 2nd (Trent Huebner and Tom Baker with assists), but they could not come over their loss of their Goaltender Steve Young who had to miss the champtionship game. The most amazing stat of the game came when Trent Huebner, who was filling in for missing slots in the Boingers' roster, actaully recorded an assist, his first on the year.
