Team Pounds Beer Heads
After surviving an early onslaught of shots and offensive pressure from the Beer Heads, Team Pound was able to rebound and come home with a 2-0 win. A classic matchup between two rival teams, great offense and spectacular defense played key to keeping the score to be 0-0 until late into the second period. Brett Sobotka was able to break the scoreless tie with a redirect from Trent "my mom was on the cover of floppy tits magazine" Huebner. The Beer Heads pulled their goalie in a time out right after the goal. With an empty net, Trent sealed the deal by putting in a shot from mid-ice.
With this win, Team Pound remains in 2nd place while the Beer Heads fall to 3rd place.
