Steve Anderson & Death Tongue Take Down the Beavers
In a highly-contested defensive battle, Steve Anderson of Death Tongue proved to be the difference in the 2-1 win over the Angry Beavers. His goals (assisted by Chris Ward and Brian Karre) gave team Death Tongue an early advantage into the 2nd period. Team Captain Andy Bradfield of the Angry Beavers was able to cut the lead in half by an amazing goal (unassisted) from the corner past Death Tongue goaltender Steve Young. The Beavers had a late charge when they pulled their goalie in the wanning seconds of the game, but stringent defense from Death Tongue was able to keep the victory.
With this win, Death Tongue moves into 2nd place with the Beer Heads as the Angry Beavers fall into a last place..
