Beer Heads Rally with Late Goal to Tie Team Pound
With less than 2 minutes left in the game, Beer Head's team captain Eric Kamin took a pass from Chris Clem and rifled one into the back of the net to even the score at 2-2. A spectacular goal to end a hard-fought game. Kamin, who leads the league in goals and points, was the needed edge the Beer Heads needed as that goal gave them the tie against Team Pound. The game started off only one 1st period goal from Beer Head's Carrey Durban. Team Pound was able to answer with Two goals from Trend Huebner and Todd Miller in the second to take the lead before Kamin's goal.
With this tie, Team Pound and the Beer Heads remain in their previous places of 1st and 2nd place respectively.
