Shots fly but Only One Scores in Death Tongue Win

In a game that featured a total of 39 shots, only one found the back of the net for team Death Tongue in their 1-0 win over the Beerheads. Tom Baker was credited with the goal as it was a shot that was deflected off of a defender past Beerhead's goaltender Mike Parks. Death Tongue Steve Young kept his team in the game with a couple of breakaway saves as he recorded his 2nd shutout in as many games.

The highlight of the evening came when Beerhead's Nick Reicks hit a shot that cleared the ice and smacked Team Pound's captain Trent Huebner right in the back of the head. Many thought that there would be an official's time out as uncontrolled laughter overcame everybody.

With this win, DeathTongue pulls into first place and the Beerhead's come into a tie at 2nd.
