Even With Late Flurry of Shots, Game Ends Nodded At 0
On Sunday, Team Pound, a team making it's debut appearance, squared off with the oldest active team, Deathtongue. While at times it looked like the vertran's dominated the upstart squad, Team Pound hung in there and fended off DeathTongue's rallies to end in a 0-0 tie. Good friends/Goalies Steve Young (Deathtongue) and Pete Wetzel (Team Pound) were awarded each shutouts as they greated eachother after the game. With these ties, both Team Pound and Deathtongue share 2nd place in the league.
