Grueling Match ends in win for Billy's Boingers
Amazing saves on boths sides made it a close game to the end in the 2-0 win for Billy & the Boingers over the Beer Heads. Beer Head's goaltender Bill Sitton, subing in for Mike Parks, and Billy & the Boinger's goaltender Steve Young stood on their head with some incredible saves to keep this match scoreless late into the 2nd period. Billy & the Boinger's Brian Karre was able to set up at point blank range in front of the net and fired it home. Later in the game, Karre was able to add to his scoring total by putting in a empty net goal.
