Defense Revs Up in 1-0 Win for Team Pound
Right after an earlier game where scoring came like rain, Team Pound and Billy and the Boingers tighten up their play and only allow one goal in a 1-0 for Team Pound. Early in the game, Todd Miller was able to take advantage of missing goaltender for the Boingers, Steve Young, as he shelfed a beautiful shot in the net on a pass from Tony Dreibus. After that, it became a grueling defensive chess match as scoring chances were greatly minimized. Billy and the Boingers are last year's Death Tongue team; they just changed their name.
