Even Different Goalies Can't Stop the Sally's: 6-0
Sally's get a big help from new time scorer Clayton Reif (4 Goals), Gabe Gargano (1 Goal 3 Assists), and Bob Haniszewski (1 Goal) to win 6-0 earning the team to have 3 shutouts. With the score 4-0 in favor of the Sally's at the end of the first half, Sally Goaltender Pete Wetzel and Beaver Goaltender Bill Sitton decided to trade teams for the 2nd half. In a much heated display of shit-talking, the Sally's were able to tack on two more goals past their acclaimed goaltender Wetzel. Intensity rose to an all-time high of the game when veteran Trent "Has A Hot Mom" Huebner was all alone with the ball not 4 feet from the net. Huebner decided to rifle one through Wetzel's five-hole (between the legs) but Wetzel reminded him why they called him "The Mason" as he built a seemingly impenetrable brick wall and smothered the ball between his legs.
Scoring Note: I took the 2nd half of this game and swapped the goaltender's stats. In other Words, Wetzel had 2 shots first period as the Sally Goaltender and 13 as the Beaver Goaltender and yielding 2 goals. I did the same for Bill Sitton but because the stats are organized by teams, I combined his with Kevin Wills, the normal goaltender for the Beavers.
