Nads Pull Out All Stops, But It's Sally's Who Roll
Since Fighting Sally's haven't lost a game since February 2, 2003 (Nads won 4-3), the Nads beefed up in the off-season adding Tiger Tom's leading goal scorer Andy Bradfield and Kevin French. To ensure a win against the Sally's they even brought back former league goal and point leader Shawn Nepodal. But all this is for naught... In a 4-1 victory, the Fighting Sally's are receiving phone calls from ESPN Classic to host "Fighting Sally's: The Season" for next session. Stellar Defense combined with high-octane offense put the Nads on ice by letting only one goal in from Andy Bradfield (AKA Pete's Bi-atch). :-) This lose drops the Nads to third place and the Sally's remain in first.
