Beavers Say They Are For Real With Opening Win
The Angry Beavers, who placed last in the previous season, made a stand to say they are a contender by capturing a 4-2 win in week one against the Beerheads. Brand New recruit Mike Moulder scored and assisted twice while vetrans Eric Paisly (2 goals) and Andy Bradfield (1 goal) lit the lamp. The Beerheads, a team merged from the Nads and the Fighting Sallys, had scoring Chris Clem (1 goal 1 assist), Eric Kamin (1 goal), and Nick Riechts (1 assist). This win coupled by a tie in the 8:30 game put the Angry Beavers alone in first place
