Beer Heads Foam over with Joy in 1-0 Championship Win
A close fought battle between the Beer Heads and Tiger Toms ended in a 1-0 win. In the middle of the 2nd half, a rocket shot from the point deflects off of a Tiger Tom's defenseman's foot became the game deciding goal. Even with the shots being in heavy favor to the Beer Heads, Tiger Toms was able to put up some sustained efforts. But in the end, late penalties proved costly as the Beer Heads became the 2004 Fall Season Playoff Champions. And no, Brett Slobotka did not score or assist. :-)
