Late Sally's Offense Proves Winner

With all but one goal coming in the second period, the Fighting Sally's put down Tiger Tom's 5-1. Trent Huebner, the man most known for his attractive mother, took over the statistic points lead from teammate Brett Sobotka. With the game being 1-0 in favor of the Sally's, a major turning point in the game came when Tiger Tom's sharp shooter Danny Kozial got free with a breakaway and was one-on-one with international famed goaltender Pete Wetzel. Pete was able to deflect a blistering shot traveling at mach speed that was aimed at the glove side upper shelve. The ball left play, but on the ensuing faceoff, the Sally's were able to travel the length of the ice and score within 20 seconds of the faceoff.
